Is the staff app separate from the client app?

No. The staff and instructor experience is built into the same Clovo app your clients use. When you log in as an owner or staff member, an additional admin sheet appears so you can switch between using the app as a client and managing the studio.

What can instructors do in the admin app?

Instructors can mark attendance, check clients in for class, view today's class schedule, see who has booked or joined a waitlist, manage walk-in bookings, and process refunds (if their role allows). Everything an instructor needs during a class is accessible from their phone.

Can I limit what staff can see and do?

Yes. Clovo uses role-based permissions. You can configure what each staff role can access — for example instructors might only see their own classes and attendance, while admin staff get full reporting and member-management access.

Is the admin app available on iPad?

Yes. The Clovo app runs natively on iPad, with a tablet-optimised layout for the admin experience. Many studios use an iPad at the reception desk for managing arrivals, walk-ins and class flow.

Do staff need a separate Clovo subscription?

No. Staff accounts are included in the standard Clovo plan. There is no per-staff fee or per-seat charge.
