How-to guide
How to add Clovo to your WordPress website
Install the Clovo WordPress plugin and use your studio code to embed live timetables, memberships, packs and trials on your existing site.

Your website should not go stale the moment your timetable changes. The Clovo WordPress plugin embeds live schedule and product information straight into your WordPress pages or posts, so your marketing site keeps selling while Clovo stays the operational source of truth.
This guide covers installing the plugin, connecting it to your studio, and embedding a live timetable and product listings that update themselves whenever you change something in Clovo.
Before you start
- You need admin access to a self-hosted WordPress site so you can install and activate plugins.
- Have your Clovo studio set up with a published timetable, so there is real content to embed.
- If you do not run WordPress, you can still show your timetable on any website using the standard embed.
Set it up, step by step
-
Install the Clovo plugin
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins › Add New, search for Clovo, then install and activate it.
-
Open the plugin settings
Once the plugin is active, open its settings page. This is where you connect WordPress to your studio and where the embed shortcodes are documented.
-
Copy your Clovo Studio Code
In Clovo Studio, go to Setup › Integrations and copy your Studio Code. This is the unique key that tells WordPress which studio to pull live content from.
-
Paste the code into WordPress
Back in the plugin settings, paste the Studio Code and save. This connects every embed on your site to the correct studio, so the right timetable and products appear.
-
Embed your live timetable
Add the plugin shortcode to any page or post to drop a live timetable in place. Because it reads straight from Clovo, future timetable edits do not need a website content update — the page just stays current.
-
Embed your products
You can also embed product listings such as memberships, packs and trials. This is useful when you want clients to compare their options on your own site before they buy.
Why a live embed beats a static page
A hand-typed timetable or price list looks fine the day you publish it and slowly turns into a liability. Every schedule change becomes a website job, and the gap between what your site says and what your studio does is where bookings and trust leak away.
An embed removes that gap entirely. You manage one source of truth in Clovo, and your WordPress pages reflect it the moment it changes — no plugin updates, no re-editing, no stale prices.
Tip
Keep the page focused: the embed is the action area. Surround it with concise copy — a clear page title and a short intro — then let the live timetable or products do the work. Before you publish, test the page on mobile and confirm the booking and purchase paths open correctly.
Get more from your embeds
The plugin is one of several ways to connect Clovo to where your clients already are. Mix and match depending on how you market your studio.
- Pair an embedded timetable with embedded products so a visitor can browse classes and buy a pack on the same page.
- If you want a ready-made booking page without building it yourself, set up a Clovo landing page and link to it from your site.
- Reinforce every web touchpoint by sending clients to your branded apps for booking on the go.
Common questions
Do I have to update the page each time my timetable changes?
No. The embed pulls live from Clovo, so once the shortcode is on the page it always shows your current schedule. You only edit the timetable in Clovo, never on the website.
Where do I find my Studio Code?
In Clovo Studio, go to Setup › Integrations and copy the Studio Code there. Paste it into the plugin settings to connect your embeds to the correct studio.
Can I show prices and let people buy from my site?
Yes. Alongside the timetable you can embed product listings such as memberships, packs and trials, so clients can compare options and start a purchase without leaving your page. Always test the purchase path on mobile first.
What to remember
- The plugin embeds live Clovo timetables and products into WordPress with shortcodes — no duplicate maintenance.
- Your Studio Code under Setup › Integrations is what links each embed to your studio.
- Keep the page simple around the embed, then test booking and purchase paths on mobile before publishing.
